We stayed in the Standard Double Room with View. It was quite spacious for two and offered beautiful views of the hills, which was nice. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked. Plus, there was plenty of tea and coffee available. No major complaints, just a solid stay overall.

Beautiful countryside views, Well-kept grounds, Unique historical atmosphere
Inconsistent restaurant service!!! Dated bathroom fixtures, poor water pressure in showers, and inadequate WiFi connectivity could seriously affect your stay. Limited food options for late arrivals creates stress after long travels!!!

The hotel boasts a sizeable car park, making it hassle-free for travelers arriving by vehicle. Its location off the beaten path offers a unique charm, perfect for those willing to navigate a few narrow lanes for a more tranquil stay.
The furniture in the rooms feels quite dated, leading to a less-than-pleasant atmosphere. Poor room insulation meant I could hear every detail from neighboring guests, making it tough to get a good night's rest. The shower could've used a proper clean-up, and the bathroom necessities weren't very eco-friendly, with single-use toiletries often left behind. Accessibility isn't great, since the roads leading to the hotel are narrow and riddled with potholes, which can be a bit of a trek for the unprepared. Lastly, I noticed a lack of basic items in the room like drinking glasses or a place for toothbrushes.

Had a fantastic time with friends exploring local attractions like the magnificent Cathedral and unique Underground Passages. The location was serene, and we loved the beautiful gardens, perfect for relaxing in the sun. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious! Just be prepared for narrow roads when finding the hotel.
One downside was the difficulty in finding the hotel due to the lack of signage and the challenging narrow roads. It took us time to navigate these on our first arrival.

Had an awesome time with friends here! We loved exploring the fascinating Underground Passages and taking the free Red Coat Guided Tour. The food was great and the staff really friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, providing a cozy place to unwind after long days of sightseeing.
We did have a bit of a hassle checking in. We had to wait around for someone to assist us since the reception was unattended for a while. It would’ve been more seamless if that was managed better.

The hotel is nestled in a tranquil area, offering stunning countryside views that create an inviting escape. The charming bar area provides a cozy space to unwind after a long day, complete with a rustic charm that enhances the overall ambiance.
The interior décor feels outdated, with worn carpets and furniture that could use a refresh. Noise from nearby events can echo through the walls, making it tough to find peace during the night. navigating the narrow and poorly signed roads to get there was somewhat of a hassle, especially in unclear conditions.
